DAVID WILSON HOMES WALTON LOCK HOUSING, WARRINGTON 2008 - 2009 Responsible for assisting with the detailed design of reserved matters planning application for a 250 unit residential development. Landscape elements include design of public open spaces, hard and soft landscape treatments and production of the Design and Access Statement.
PEEL DEVELOPMENTS WATERSMEET LINEAR PARK, WARRINGTON 2007 - present Responsible for assisting with the detailed design of reserved matters planning application which proposes to create a new linear park. Works involve landscape and ecological improvements, and re-routing part of the Trans Pennine Trail.
PARTNERSHIPS IN CARE DELPH PARK, WARRINGTON 2007 Assisted with the planning application for a new medium security unit to be attached to an existing hospital.
PEEL DEVELOPMENTS PARTINGTON 2007 - present Assistant landscape designer in a multi-disciplinary design team preparing planning applications for 500 residential units, public realm improvements, a green-loop around the village and re-development proposals for the village centre. Contributed to the Design and Access Statement. Continuing to develop the scheme for a reserved matters planning application.
PEEL DEVELOPMENTS LIVERPOOL INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PARK 2005 - present Masterplanning, construction and maintenance of a 65 hectare business park. Responsible for the detailed design of the soft landscape and assisting with administration of the construction phase. Nicola now oversees the maintenance contract for completed areas.
MERSEY BASIN CAMPAIGN SPEKE AND GARSTON COASTAL RESERVE 2005 - present Assisted with monitoring the construction of the latter elements of the Coastal Reserve. Now involved in running the maintenance contract for the site.
