In 2008 Randall Thorp assisted Peel Holdings in gaining planning permission for the redevelopment of the retail centre of Partington as part of a wider scheme which aims to regenerate the village.
The existing retail centre is dominated by poor quality buildings and public realm. This image is failing to attract investors and new facililties. The redevelopment focuses on visually opening up the shopping centre while also providing a new market square and improving the village green.
We have been involved since 2002:
- Working with architects to masterplan the redevelopment of the retail centre;
- Landscape design of the external spaces and production of drawings for planning submission;
- Production of the Design and Access Statement.
