  In 2008 Peel Holdings were granted planning permission for residential development on a brownfield site alongside the Manchester Ship Canal at Lock Lane and for the redevelopment of the retail centre of Partington.

We have been involved since 2002:
  • masterplanning the residential site
  • preparing a strategy for public realm improvements in the existing settlement
  • working with architects on a redevelopment proposals for the retail centre of Partington
  • working with ecologists to develop a ‘Green Loop’ proposal round the edge of Partington
  • working with the planning consultants on submissions to the Area Action Plan
  • co-ordinating the Design and Access Statements for the residential and retail proposals
  • preparing a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for the residential development
