Following difficulties in getting a masterplan that worked, Randall Thorp were approached to produce a new scheme for this sensitive site that was economically viable and incorporated more extensive details of layout and design matters. Our masterplanning and LVIA work led to the development of a sustainable mixed use scheme of 1,150 new homes set within a high quality nature area managed by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. The scheme also includes a 3.5 hectare retirement village, a new primary school, Neighbourhood Centre, 1.8 hectares of employment land and over 33 hectares of new nature reserves.
