As part of our clients planning application for minerals extraction, Randall Thorp were commissioned to undertake an LVIA and prepare plans for the restoration of land and the creation of lakes at Farm Fields near Hertford.
Planning permission was approved in four sequential phases with vegetation being retained wherever possible to minimise visual impact.
The restored site fits harmoniously into the wider landscape, replacing an area of rather mediocre farmland with an attractive wetland area with enriched ecological value.
