The Cambourne masterplan envisaged traditional village greens at the heart of each new neighbourhood. Since developing this masterplan concept, Randall Thorp have gone on to design and deliver a range of village greens, throughout the new settlement that take their inspiration from the traditional greens of Cambridgeshire villages to create public spaces that are vibrant, verdant spaces for the whole community.
