The Graduate Experience at Randall Thorp
06 March 2023
At Randall Thorp, we believe that nurturing and developing talent is more than simply picking the best applicants and putting them to work. We continuously seek to create a supportive, positive and rewarding work environment, that gives our graduate team members the greatest breadth of experience across every aspect of their profession and, we believe, the support, mentorship, and training they need to build a richly rewarding career in landscape architecture.
Apprenticeships are win-win
10 February 2023
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is ‘Skills for Life’. It’s something we understand very well here at Randall Thorp, because landscape architecture demands a broad range of expertise and skills beyond what we learn at school and university.
The traditional route into landscape architecture is through a recognised degree study course, but it’s not the only career path into the sector, and Randall Thorp began its apprenticeship scheme in 2020, in a bid to attract new talent from different sources.

Congratulations to all the winners. We look forward to grabbing a few more LI awards ourselves over the next few years to add the the ones we already have on display.

Team social at Kampus
01 August 2022
A great little informal after work team event last week - GOOD SPACE / BAD PLACE? Where we visit a local city space and critically assess it to determine if we think its a great city space or a terrible bad place.
Fortunately we all agreed that Kampus is a GREAT CITY SPACE. So congrats to the team at Exterior Architecture and their clients at Capital&Centric, you don't get an award but you did get a pint for being such good sports!
